Our Puppy Curriculum

At our kennel, we take pride in our exceptional puppy curriculum that starts as early as 3 days old. Our program is designed to prepare our puppies for the real world by providing them with early neurologic stimulation, early scent introduction, and enrichment tailored to their unique neuronal development. We work tirelessly to create stimulating and enriching environments for our puppies, which helps them become well-rounded canines as adults. Our unique program is specifically designed to lessen reactivity, improve the human-canine connection, and enhance our puppies' resilience.

Puppy Program

Early Neurologic Stimulation

At our facility, we provide early neurologic stimulation (ENS), which is also referred to as the Super Dog Program, to all of our puppies. This program offers them a significant benefit in terms of early socialization and has demonstrated to enhance their ability to cope with negative stressors and illnesses. Early Scent Introduction

In addition to the BioSensor program (ENS), we also provide early scent introduction (ESI) to each of our puppies. This process begins as early as 3 days old! We gently introduce a new scent each day in hopes of enhancing our puppies' scenting abilities and neuronal development. You can learn more about ESI here.

Lessening Reactivity

At Studley Hill Goldens, we aim to reduce canine reactivity in our puppies by exposing them to a multitude of customized scents, textures, scenarios, sounds, and people on a regular basis. In fact, we have our entire puppy curriculum scheduled and mapped out each day so that puppies are gradually exposed to these benign stressors in a methodical, reproducible manner. This helps our puppies improvise, adapt, and overcome with lasting temperament benefits.

Enhancing Connection

Love is at the core of our program. We handle each and every puppy with tender love and care from the moment they are born. In fact, we purposefully hold puppies close to our nose and mouth from an early age so that they acclimate to human scent. In addition, we created our own unique technique we call "Platonic Biofeedback" which helps our puppies connect on an emotional level with humans early on.
